The way to the waterfall has not so much big up and down. From Akanuma Parking, the starting point, I walk straight over the snow to Senjogahara and further to Odashirogahara area.
At the viewing point where I can see the white birch called “Lady of Odashirogahara”, I take a short break. After I go over Yumihari Pass, I walk through the pure white forest and enjoy snowshoe trekking toward IORI-TAKI Waterfall.
After arriving at the waterfall, I take photo with the frozen fall behind, enjoy the view of ice waterfall, and then eat lunch. In the second half, it’s time to go back! With snowshoe, I can walk many kinds of route, so let’s go to the back way! Let’s also enjoy snow mountain by playing “shirisēdo” (sliding with bottom) and more. The tour will be customized depending on the guests so I never get bored until the end.
Why not experience the magical ice world together with the guide, Jumbo?

Snowshoe is a tool for walking on snow. Even in deep snow, I don’t sink easily, so I can walk lightly and comfortably on fluffy snow.
It is also called “Western Kanjiki,” and because I don’t need special skill, I can enjoy hiking easily. In foreign countries, it is loved by wide range of people from children to adults.
Even people who are not good at skiing or snowboarding can enjoy the winter nature. It is a popular activity.
